New Near-Luxury Cars
Cars in the near-luxury class have notable performance and sporty styling, and much of what's available on other luxury vehicles, usually in a smaller, and less expensive package.

All near-luxury cars come standard with anti-lock brakes and side airbags, and in many cases overhead airbags and active head restraints are also available. Traction control is a more advanced feature that stops the spin of a wheel, and in turn insures contact between your tires and the road. Augmenting this feature is an Electronic Stability System that also keeps your tires in contact with the road by coordinating the ABS, Traction Control. The individual systems are combined in an effort to reduce tire spinning, skidding, and tractionless cornering. All features, if not featured as standard, can considerably boost the overall price of vehicles in this segment.

New Mid-Luxury Cars
 The mid-luxury car represents the best of what's out there at a price that is not completely out of reach. A typical mid-size luxury car comes loaded with features that take advantage of the latest technology all wrapped up in a very attractive package.

 As you move up to the mid luxury class, more safety features become available. In addition to side airbags and traction control, side-curtain airbags are commonly found in mid-luxury cars. Also an Electronic Stability System, which works by applying braking pressure to the appropriate wheels to keep the tires in contact with the road, is another feature to look for in this segment.

Ultra-Luxury Cars
If low price is on your mind, then you're looking in the wrong place. Vehicles in the ultra-luxury class start at nearly $60,000. A Test Drive of any car in this class is a worthwhile experience.

Additionally, some ultra-luxury cars feature a heads up display, which projects the dashboard instruments onto the inside of the windshield, for easier viewing, and few automakers, even have a night vision system, which uses infrared technology to help the driver see beyond the headlights. Many ultra luxury cars also come equipped with a backup sensing system, which tells the driver if there are people or objects hidden behind it.
